Throughout November of 2020, the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association teamed with Hunger Task Force to bring you Enderis Gives Thanks; A Virtual Holiday Food Drive. By simply logging onto a website and making selections, neighbors were able to donate items such as milk and eggs, a turkey or a complete Holiday dinner and much more.
During the drive period, Enderis Park neighbors generously contributed just over $4800 to Hunger Task Force. To translate that into community impact, consider that a Holiday Dinner option at $125 was meant to feed a family of four for a week including a full holiday dinner (turkey or ham and all sides). Therefore Enderis Park neighbors provided 38 families in our community with food for a week, including an entire holiday feast.
In recognition of our efforts, EPNA President Pat Yahle was asked to appear on WTMJ TV4 to discuss our food drive. You can see the entire interview here: TMJ4_Enderis Gives Thanks
It is not too late to contribute. Simply log on to Enderis Park Neighborhood Association Virtual Food Drive - Hunger Task Force to give.
Thank you to all of our neighbors who participated in EPNA’s first holiday food drive.
